Podable is a trading name of Tagg Enterprises Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14617842). This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit podable.co.uk (the “Website”) or get in touch with us, and how we use cookies.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Your name, email address, phone number and message when you complete our contact form or email us;
• Your details if you book a call with us through Calendly (name, email and any answers you give);
• Any other details you choose to share with us, for example about a recording or event you would like us to cover.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Website we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit. Some of this is collected using cookies (see section 9).

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiries and provide quotes;
• To arrange calls, recording sessions and deliver your podcast or video content;
• To provide and manage the services you book with us, including invoicing;
• To keep the Website secure and prevent spam and misuse;
• To understand how the Website is used so we can improve it; and
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We will only send you marketing emails if you have asked us to or are an existing customer, and you can opt out at any time.

4. Our lawful bases

• Contract: to respond to requests and provide services you have asked for;
• Legitimate interests: to run, secure and improve our business and Website, and to reply to enquiries;
• Legal obligation: to keep financial and tax records; and
• Consent: for non-essential cookies and marketing, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run our business, including our website host (IONOS), our email provider, Calendly (call booking), Google (maps and fonts) and Automattic (Jetpack), and our accountants, and where required by law. These providers may only use your information to provide services to us.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers (for example Google) may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep enquiry details for up to 2 years after our last contact with you, and customer and financial records for 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required by law. We then delete or anonymise them.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@podable.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

9. Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use strictly necessary cookies to make the Website work and keep it secure; these do not need your consent. We only use other cookies, such as those set by embedded third-party services, with your consent, which you can give or withdraw using the cookie banner or your browser settings.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Website may then not work properly.
